Mass Weddings Not Only For Dogs!

It was hardly surprising to see that on Aug. 8 (8-8-8 for those who are keeping score), there was a mass wedding of 80 Chinese couples. What was remarkable is that the overall guest tally was a mere 500--doubtless due to space constraints of their venue.

I Do, Doggone It! promises to have close to, if not more than, 1,000 people-n-pups in attendance on Oct. 4, when you consider we need at least 358 dogs--and that same number of human handlers--to simply be part of the ceremony, let alone witness it.

By the way, to the best of our knowledge, none of the Chinese mass wedding participants were named "Mr. Big"--the name of the diminutive half of I Do, Doggone It's First Couple.
